WORDS OF WISDOM

LESSON # 1
Muhammad Ali's advice to his daughters..............Very inspiring!

An incident transpired when Muhammad Ali’s daughters arrived at his home wearing clothes that were quite revealing. Here is the story as told by one of his daughters:
“When we finally arrived, the chauffeur escorted my younger sister, Laila, and me up to my father’s suite. As usual, he was hiding behind the door waiting to scare us. We exchanged many hugs and kisses as we could possibly give in one day.
My father took a good look at us. Then he sat me down on his lap and said something that I will never forget. He looked me straight in the eyes and said, “Hana, everything that God made valuable in the world is covered and hard to get to. Where do you find diamonds? Deep down in the ground, covered and protected. Where do you find pearls? Deep down at the bottom of the ocean, covered up and protected in a beautiful shell. Where do you find gold? Way down in the mine, covered over with layers and layers of rock. You've got to work hard to get to them.” He looked at me with serious eyes.
“Your body is sacred. You’re far more precious than diamonds and pearls, and you should be covered too.”

LESSON # 2
As you have entered into 2013, Evaluate the people in your life;
Then PROMOTE some
DEMOTE others
And TERMINATE A few - You are the CEO of your life and so live according o design!

LESSON # 3
Have you noticed that the moment you establish a goal in your life, you start hearing people say,

“Who do you think you are?” or “It can't be done” or “Forget about it”?
The antidote to the voices of doubt is to instead listen to the voice of God.
Just imagine all the critics that were in Noah's life. “That guy, Noah, thinks God speaks to him, but he's just messing up all of our property values by building that ark in his front yard.”
The Bible tells us that Noah listened to God. And what did he hear? He heard God's warning that the world was going to be destroyed. He heard what he had not yet seen.
That's what faith is - being certain of something we don't see. Gods ways are foolishness unto our carnal minds – His ways are not our ways, neither His thoughts our thoughts!
So Noah didn’t turn back on the vision God had given him. Instead, he built the ark.
I pray that God will grant us to grace of Noah to pursue His promise (Word) till the end. Its so sad to think about the countless number of Christians who have aborted the promises of God because they listened to their critics instead of God?

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge:  but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1 v 7
